About Mike
I am an experienced and engaging teacher with a passion for teaching English, Science and Maths. I pride myself on building strong relationships with my pupils, as I feel gaining their trust helps me to get positive results for children, enabling them to fulfil their potential. I have experience in both Key Stage 1 and 2, and can assist with SATs preparation as well as day-to-day learning.
My emphasis is on understanding every student's individual learning style in order to tailor my approach, and to make sessions fun and rewarding.
I provide feedback at the end of each session, and sit down with parents after every 4 sessions to discuss progress and how they can support learning at home. I am also available in between sessions to answer queries and concerns.
I look forward to getting to know you and your children and helping them to achieve.
