About Toby

Hello, thanks for checking out my ad! I am a fully qualified teacher and I have had experience teaching across a range of school settings. Whilst I completed my first undergraduate degree in English Language, I am happy tutoring across any subject. I have also tutored students working at Key Stage 3, for their GCSE & for their A Levels. I am also confident and would be pleased to tutor English as a second language to children or adults alike. I believe education should be engaging as well as inclusive. Whilst working with you or your child, I hope to draw upon a wide range of teaching and learning strategies in order to formulate and support a great working relationship.

Outside of education, I love sports especially football and tennis. I have always had an interest in playing music, having played trumpet and piano since an early age. I also have a beautiful two-year old cat called Pippin!

I look forward to meeting you and am happy to answer any questions you may have. Feel free to drop me a message at anytime with any questions you may have.

University degrees:
- University of Northampton - PGCE [Pass]
- University of Northumbria - English Language [2:1]

Toby has tutored my son on and off for the last few years. He has mainly taught him English and maths (from year 2 to year 5) but has also covered other subjects too. He is fantastic and I recommend him. He has an enthusiastic style of tutoring that I think would suit anyone.
