About Libby
I am a recent graduate of French and German from Durham University. I achieved a 2:1 Honours degree with a distinction in spoken French, as well as an A* in both French GCSE and A-Level. My current French level is roughly C1 after having lived and worked in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region for 6 months. I am a keen learner and I like to make the lessons interesting while also informative and effective for learning and revision.

I hope to provide fun and informative lessons tailored to each individual student. I tutored throughout my time in Sixth Form, and worked as a British Council English Language Assistant in France so I have experience teaching all ages.
Lessons would be 30 mins or 1 hour depending on the student's wishes. I would be happy to teach all years from reception until Y13, as well as casual or beginner French and exam specific preparation.

I am happy to give the first lesson for free so you can see my teaching style and check that my tutoring would be right for you. During this class, I would love to discuss what you are interested in learning, areas of previous difficulty and areas you feel confident in, in order to create a personalised learning program for you.
