My classes have a communicative approach, and are suitable for any level and any age. Most of the activities will based on multimedia material (movies, songs, poetry, etc), followed by exercises to memorise and make use of the new elements you will learn in each lesson.

I am Roberta, a native Italian speaker girl based on Glasgow.
My academic background, especially during the last years of University, brought me to develop a now solid passion for teaching my mothertongue to people interested in broading their horizons, both physically and mentally. My teaching experience started as an English tutor for a wide range of people with different skill levels, from children approaching the language for the first time to university students preparing for their graduation or language certifications such as IELTS. The idea of spreading the same love I have for my own language and culture led me to obtain the CEDILS, an Italian cultural certificate that attests the ability to teach Italian both as foreign and second language.
The job experience at my University’s Language Center and as an English tutor played a huge role in the development of skills I find essential to work in the educational field. Working with people from different languages, ages and cultures allowed me to sharpen my problem solving skills, and made me able to find a solution for my students’ needs and issues in their learning process. Moreover, I have an artistic inclination which, combined with a communicative approach, would make lessons more interesting and dynamic, and, consequently, easier to follow.
