Hi there! I am a qualified secondary school teacher teaching RE and Humanities from years 7-11. I have A level qualifications in Psychology and have undertaken further undergraduate degree level modules in Psychology, therefore have extensive knowledge on the subject. Psychology is something I am passionate about and thoroughly enjoy, hence would love to tutor others who share the same enthusiasm as myself and want to learn more. I am studying a degree in Philosophy and Religion, therefore understand the subjects in depth. I feel my skill-set would benefit GCSE and A Level students. I can adapt my teaching styles to suit the needs of my students as I have plenty of tutoring experience too - just drop me a message and we can discuss further :)
I am a qualified teacher and have taught for almost 2 years. Previously, I have worked for a tutoring company in a centre for 3 years and helped many different students of all ages in various subjects! As previously stated, I have extensive knowledge on the subject due to my A level and degree level experience in Psychology and Philosophy/Religion.
Rates may vary depending on student's level of studying. Please message to discuss :)
I have worked for almost two years as a Secondary Teacher of Religious Education. I have been fortunate to receive high quality specialised CPD, exam moderation training and achieved a classification of ‘Outstanding’ from my Teacher Training University provider. I gained Qualified Teacher Status at the end of my first year and am due to complete my NQT year to the highest level and Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) in July 2020. Furthermore, I was awarded ‘trainee teacher of the year’ following my first year amongst all the trainees within my school in addition to being nominated for the network wide award, which demonstrates my resilience, grit and drive for success.
I am an extremely dedicated, creative and enthusiastic teacher, who upholds the highest expectations for myself and my students. I pride myself on knowing every child as soon as possible to ensure that I have a clear understanding of my students’ individual learning needs, to enable them to excel both academically and personally. I aim to develop a sustained love of learning and a passion for RE within my classroom, and ensure that my lessons are creative, engaging, and challenging for all. I ensure that every scheme of work that I have created, and each lesson within it, is meticulously planned to ensure academic rigor and mastery of lesson objective, whilst developing and inspiring the students in my class.
