About Emily
Hi! I am a friendly primary school teacher with experience from KS1 and KS2. I have a fun and enthusiastic approach to teaching and can tailor my teaching to meet the individual needs of pupils. I have a background in psychology, in particular developmental psychology so I have a good understanding of how children develop and learn. I enjoy walking my dog and spending time with my family and pets. I am a keen reader (often reading children's books) and so would encourage any child to find their love of reading. I am keen to teach phonics and help children improve their fluency and comprehension of books. I enjoy walking my dog and spending time with my family and pets. I believe finding a child's interests can help improve their love for and confidence in learning. Emily is an incredible teacher, having previously worked alongside her she has a very special way of supporting children and meeting their individual needs. Children trust her and love the learning opportunities she provides in a unique way. She has experience in supporting children within a mainstream school with various needs and will want to get to know the children she helps individually and tailor any tutoring support to them. She is very knowledgeable in what she does and any one who is lucky enough to have her working with their child will not be disappointed.
