About Peter
I have 17 years teaching experience (upto GCSE and 'A' level) in a large comprehensive school in Gateshead (1985 to 2003)
My main subject specialities are maths and chemistry.I
Over the last 8 or 9 years I have provided one to one tuition to students across Co Durham in science and maths.
I tutor maths to GCSE ,chemistry to 'A' level',and combined science to GCSE (excluding biology)
I am particularly enjoying the challenges posed by the new 9-1 syllabuses and have recently spent a lot of time building up a bank of teaching resources to meet these demands.
I have a relaxed,friendly and confident teaching style.
Much of my repeat work has come via word of mouth.
I have joined this site (March 2018) ,however,following a break for a hip replacement.
One final thing- I am prepared to set and mark homework if required (at no extra charge)
