About Lauren
I am now a Speech and Language Therapy student at Manchester Metropolitan, previously alongside my A-level studies I have tutored students of all abilities up to AS-level. This included all core subjects at GCSE, and further A- level subjects of geography, english and biology. As a hobby I also assisted a drama class regularly once I had personally achieved Grades one to eight. This included tutoring children of all ages in preparation for both grades and competitions.

My teaching method includes numerous diagrams and images which I have found is much easier for the student to remember while it also creates a fun learning environment. Another method which I found useful was to relate difficult topics back to everyday life, this allows the student to relate to the subject while it has also proved to become more rememberable for them. My teaching style also includes lots of recall questions after every section to ensure the student is understanding the topic.
