I am a student studying History at Birmingham University. I have been tutoring individuals for a few years now. Mainly primary, however some secondary too. I am passionate about English and writing and want to help other people progress in the subject

My main aim when teaching is to boost a child’s confidence! This is the key! I work with the child to find a method that works for them. This can be visual, acting things out, writing or applying things to their own lives to make it easier to understand. I often like to look at an individual’s hobbies or interests and see if we can incorporate them into our work to help students feel engaged.
