About Megan
I am an undergraduate student studying History with Politics, currently working at a First in both subjects.
I have experience teaching piano to a child with learning difficulties, proving myself able to adapt my teaching style to accommodate the student's needs.
I studied History, Mathematics, and Chemistry to A Level.

Primary and Secondary level, up to AS in Mathematics and Chemistry, A2 in History and Political Thought.
Lessons will begin with a quick introduction and key objectives that we will work together towards. Start with basic principles, and elaborate on these with examples and interactive Q+A and debate, making notes along the way. Ending with a plenary re-capping what we have been over, and how this links to previous work completed in order to create those vital links.
I feel it very important to discuss context of the content learnt - its real life application generally engages students well, and aids concentration and interest.
I also appreciate that every student learns differently - to apply a 'one method fits all' approach is ineffective. To understand whether the student is a more visual, auditory or kinaesthetic learner is of paramount importance, and tailor lessons accordingly, perhaps with more mind-maps, making models or debate.
