About Skye
With 9 years of experience in violin teaching, I have helped many students from different backgrounds learn and improve their musical skills. I teach school students, college learners, and working professionals, guiding them through every stage of their learning journey.
My teaching philosophy is based on clarity, patience, and regular practice. I believe that learning violin should be simple, structured, and enjoyable. I begin with strong basics such as posture, bowing technique, finger placement, and note reading.
As students progress, I introduce advanced lessons and help them improve their musical expression and confidence. I use practical exercises and simple teaching methods to make learning effective.
I have successfully trained more than 150 students, many of whom have gained confidence and performed in events and programmes. I maintain a supportive and motivating learning environment. My aim is to help students build both skill and confidence in violin playing.

My teaching approach is designed to make violin learning smooth, engaging, and easy to follow. I use real-life examples and simple demonstrations to explain musical concepts so students can understand them clearly. I focus on core skills such as posture, finger positioning, bow control, and scales, ensuring students develop correct techniques from the beginning.
I teach in a structured way and make sure each concept is well understood before moving forward. I believe communication is key, so I encourage students to interact, ask questions, and share their progress. I provide regular feedback and personalised guidance.
I follow honesty and dedication in my teaching. In addition to violin, I also teach music theory, rhythm exercises, ear training, and performance skills to help students grow as confident musicians.
