My name is Jose, and I am an Environmental Science student with experience supporting students in biology, chemistry, and math. My teaching approach focuses on making complex ideas simple and practical. I like to connect scientific concepts to real-world examples so students can understand not only how something works, but why it matters.
During a typical lesson, I first review the student’s current understanding and the topics they are studying. Then we work through explanations, practice problems, and examples together. I encourage students to ask questions and think critically, helping them build confidence and problem-solving skills.
What sets me apart is my patient, supportive teaching style and my ability to explain concepts clearly in both English and Spanish. My lessons are designed for middle school, high school, and early college students who want to strengthen their understanding of science and math or prepare for exams.
