About Rhiannon
The EPQ is the one qualification at A-Level that actually asks you to do what university requires: identify a question worth asking, research it independently, construct a sustained argument, and produce something original. Most students are never taught how to do any of that. They are taught how to write essays, not how to think through a research problem from scratch. I know what that process looks like because I do it professionally.
My first session is always an assessment. If you have a topic already, we look at whether it is researchable, whether the question is sharp enough, and where the argument might go. If you do not have a topic yet, that is fine, and we can discuss that together.
A typical session starts by reviewing where you are in the project, then focuses on the specific challenge at that stage, whether that is refining your research question, structuring your argument, handling your sources properly, or getting your written work to the standard required.
At the end of every session we agree on exactly what to do before next time so that the project keeps moving.
I also support standalone A-Level coursework in Law, History, English and Politics. Full marks in my own EPQ and History coursework.

I am a law graduate of the University of Oxford and Université Paris Panthéon-Assas, and I have been tutoring for over five years across more than 400 hours of experience. I love the subjects I teach, and I love teaching them even more.
I scored full marks in both my EPQ and my A-Level History coursework. I am also a published sole author with Springer and I regularly lecture on my research at undergraduate seminars, master's programmes, and academic discussion groups.
Many students come to the EPQ without a clear sense of what makes it different from ordinary schoolwork. From the very first session I assess where you are, help to design a plan around your specific project and needs, and work with you at every stage: topic development, argument structure, source handling, and final submission. No two students are the same, and no two sessions are identical.
Done well, the EPQ and coursework is one of the strongest things in a university application. It tells admissions tutors (particularly at competitive universities) that you can think independently and produce something original. Part of my teaching is showing you how to make it count on your application.
