About Angela
I taught English online for the past 5 years to children and some adults from China. I also worked for Berlitz and worked with families temporarily visiting the U.S. on work Visas. We offered separate lessons for each member of the family and utilized an instant immersion program where only English is spoken. We encouraged the students to share what they knew and then tried to build on that. In addition to my ESL work, I instructed at Boise State University in a Human Communication course and worked for a job education training program as well.

Lessons are tailor made to fit each student.
I utilize natural conversation focused around a particular object or subject depending on the students interests and abilities. Lessons will build of each other. I have a passion for language in general and see language as words surrounds by rules of the culture. While I'm only fluent in English, I have a handful of knowledge of French, Spanish, and Chinese. I prefer to learn basic words and grammatical structure from my student's culture to help understand how they may approach English. To build connections with students I share my love for traveling within the U.S.A and encourage students to share about where they live. I've worked with all ages and levels of students.
