About Sarah
I have taught English to foreigners for 6 years. I have worked at two Language Schools here in Johannesburg and I have taught student from all over Africa, South America and Asia. I have also taught students online in Brazil. I tutored two Brazilian boys, for 4 years when they moved to South African and when I started with them, they barley spoke English. I stopped working with them when they were ready to continue their schooling on their own. I have not only taught foreigners, but I have tutored South African students, helping and assisting primary school children privately.

I am a ESL teacher/tutor who puts a lot of effort into my lessons and students. I get to know what each student needs and wants to accomplish and use what I learn about them in my teaching and tutoring.
When teaching or tutoring, I choose topics that my students can relate to and understand. I use a lot of visual aids, pictures, objects and gestures in my lessons. I love creating different ways for my students to understand. I strongly believe that through association and situations that are relevant to the student, understanding and learning is made easy.
