About Jennifer
I have been in the teaching field for about twenty years. I have a BA in English Literature, a BA in Education, an MA in Education, and an ESL certification: K-12. I started as an English Literature Teacher, but then I saw how many English Language Learners in my classes were struggling, but not just in my class- all classes. I decided to go back to school for my ESL certification and I absolutely love being an ESL Teacher. I currently teach High School ESL in a charter school in Allentown. I have newcomers, beginners, intermediate, and advanced students, and each one of them touches my heart and makes me want to do my best to support them.

I base my teaching on my students' needs. I like to get to know my students and find out how they learn best, and then try to meet them in that place. Together with my students, I like to make goals and plans to achieve them. Each time we reach a goal, we get to celebrate! It's not just a celebration of meeting a goal, but also a celebration of new knowledge, which is the best reward!
