About Brooke
A few things about me:
- Connecting with people is my passion. It's why I love teaching English. I get to meet humans from all around the world and learn about their culture and about who they are. Many of my students have become more like friends, and it's a joy to help them on their journey of learning English!
- I love dogs!! My sweet pup is named Bear.
- I'm 28! My husband and I have been married for just over a year now, and being married is my favorite thing ever.
- I'm a musician. I play piano and sing :)

Hello! My name is Brooke, and I am a native English speaker from West Virginia (USA). I help my students with general conversation, verb tenses, prepositions, vocabulary, slang/idioms, understanding different accents, reading, and even writing! If you need to improve your English for your job, for travel, or because you're moving to an English speaking country - I CAN HELP YOU!
I have a degree in English & Intercultural Studies and a certificate in TESOL from Southeastern University. I taught ESL classes in Florida in-person for 3 years and have taught online for the last 2 years. I also had the privilege of teaching an intensive English course in Nepal for about five weeks in 2018. I have taught groups and individuals across a broad range of levels including:
> Beginner (Not accepting A1 students at the moment)
> Intermediate
> Advanced

The classes take place on Google Meet, and the first one is always free. Every student has different things they want to focus on. Private tutoring is one of the quickest ways to improve your English!
My goal as a teacher is to create a space where my students feel comfortable to make mistakes when they're with me so that they DON'T have to feel intimidated when they're using English in real life. My lessons are adaptable to fit YOUR needs.
