About Dina
Let's learn, grow and have fun together!
I am a highly passionate and experienced SEN teacher with a BSc DEGREE in Special Needs Education and have qualified as a Special Needs Educator and Therapist (specialising in intellectual and multiple disabilities, learning difficulties and additional needs).
I have over 15 years' experience (across various year groups from nursery to year 6) working with children with a range of SEN needs, including anxiety, ASD, ADHD/ADD, PDA, OCD, SEMH, Dyslexia, Dyscalculia, Down's Syndrome and other needs.
I believe that children learn best when they feel understood, supported and genuinely interested in what they are doing.
My aim is not only to support academic progress, but also to help children build confidence, develop independence and discover the joy of learning.

Every child is different and I believe their education should reflect that. My approach is child-centred, personalised and relationship-based.
I take the time to get to know the child. I believe that connection comes before learning. When a child feels understood, safe and valued, they are much more likely to engage and communicate.
I adapt my teaching to the individual rather than expecting the child to adapt to one particular way of learning.
I use a mixture of play, creativity, practical activities, visual support, movement, the child's own interests and structured learning depending on what works best for them.
