About Iman
Hello! I'm Iman, a first class graduate in Biomedical Sciences and I will be your tutor for biology and understanding all there is to the living world both around and within us! My journey with biology started early; my curiosity into how we function on a daily basis led me to earn my graduate certificate in Health Science from King's College London and eventually my bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Sciences SCIENCE from Coventry University. Since then, I have worked in a genetics lab, but my true passion is helping students develop a better understanding of all these systems and find exhilarating ways to engage with biology. When I am not in the lab, I enjoy studying neuroscience; particularly the effects of neuroplasticity and how our brain is able to rewire itself and continuously grow and learn new information throughout our lives! I help students take advantage of our brain’s remarkable abilities to adapt and grow to excel in their learning journey. My goal is to make our sessions a space where it is safe to make mistakes, ask big questions, and discover how biology applies to your everyday life.
