About Cassidy
My professional experience with data and reporting led me to recognize how essential Excel is across industries. This motivated me to pursue a B.Sc in Business Analytics and an M.Sc in Data Management Systems. Over the past 13 years, I have helped learners progress from basic spreadsheet use to advanced analytical confidence through patient and structured teaching.
I believe Excel should be taught in a calm, logical way that reduces fear and confusion. My teaching style focuses on breaking complex tasks into simple steps and explaining the purpose behind each function. I encourage learners to practice actively and ask questions freely.
Beyond teaching, I stay engaged with evolving Excel tools, data analysis trends, and reporting techniques. Teaching Excel is rewarding because I see learners gain independence, confidence, and pride in mastering a highly practical and valuable skill.

Excel becomes a powerful tool when learners understand how structured data supports clear thinking and informed decisions. My lessons focus on helping students develop confidence with spreadsheets by understanding how formulas, functions, and data organization work together. I introduce Excel concepts gradually, ensuring learners feel comfortable navigating sheets, formatting data, and applying logical operations. Practical examples are always used so learners can connect skills directly to academic, business, or personal use.
Lesson progression is tailored to the learner’s current skill level. Beginners focus on spreadsheet basics, clean formatting, simple formulas, charts, and error-free data entry. Intermediate learners work on logical functions, lookup tools, pivot tables, data validation, and structured datasets. Advanced learners explore dashboard design, scenario analysis, advanced formulas, and automation concepts. Each lesson includes guided practice, error analysis, and real-time feedback to ensure understanding.
Excel lessons also strengthen organization, attention to detail, and analytical thinking. As learners grow more confident, they approach data tasks calmly and efficiently.
