About Nova
My interest in Excel developed from recognizing how essential data literacy is in modern workplaces. I pursued a Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, where I developed strong analytical and technical foundations. Over 13 years of teaching, I have worked with students, professionals, and beginners, helping them build practical Excel skills through clear explanation and structured practice.
I believe Excel learning should feel supportive rather than stressful. Many learners fear formulas or large datasets, so I focus on breaking tasks into manageable steps and reinforcing learning through repetition. I encourage experimentation and questions, helping learners develop confidence at their own pace without pressure.
Outside of teaching, I continue refining my Excel skills through professional projects, workflow optimization, and learning new features. These experiences keep my lessons relevant and practical. Teaching Excel is rewarding because I see learners gain confidence, efficiency, and independence that positively impact their academic and professional lives.

Excel becomes a powerful and practical tool when learners understand how its features support clear decision-making and efficient workflows. My lessons focus on developing strong skills in formulas, functions, data formatting, charts, pivot tables, and logical spreadsheet design. I guide students patiently, explaining not only how to use tools, but when and why they are useful in real academic and professional situations.
Lesson structure is customized to each learner’s experience level. Beginners learn spreadsheet navigation, basic formulas, and clean data entry habits. Intermediate learners build confidence with lookup functions, conditional formulas, charts, and data validation. Advanced learners focus on pivot tables, dashboards, data analysis techniques, and efficiency optimization. Hands-on exercises and real examples are included in every session to reinforce learning.
Excel lessons also build independence and confidence in handling data. Students learn to organize information clearly, reduce errors, and present results professionally. Many feel empowered as they realize they can manage complex data tasks with ease. My goal is to help learners feel comfortable, confident, and capable using Excel as a reliable everyday tool.
