About Ishir
My interest in Excel began with a fascination for data organization, structured analysis, and how spreadsheets simplify complex tasks efficiently. This curiosity encouraged me to complete a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems followed by a Master’s Degree in Business Analytics. Over the past 8 years, I have guided students through Excel learning using patient teaching and supportive instruction. I enjoy simplifying difficult spreadsheet concepts into manageable lessons that help students improve steadily. Watching students become more confident in handling data continues motivating me as a tutor. My teaching philosophy focuses on understanding, consistency, and supportive learning instead of pressure or memorization alone. I believe students learn best when they feel comfortable exploring technical skills openly.
Throughout my teaching experience, I have worked with beginners, office professionals, students, and advanced learners preparing for business and academic tasks. These experiences have helped me understand the importance of flexibility and patience when supporting different learning styles. I use practical demonstrations, guided exercises, reporting tasks, and visual explanations to help students progress steadily without feeling overwhelmed. I also encourage learners to ask questions freely and develop independent problem-solving skills naturally. Every lesson is designed to feel interactive, organized, and supportive so students can progress comfortably at their own pace. Beginners receive patient guidance with spreadsheet navigation, basic calculations, and formatting tools. Intermediate learners strengthen reporting skills, function accuracy, and worksheet organization. Advanced students focus on automation, advanced formulas, and data visualization. I encourage students to understand spreadsheet logic instead of memorizing steps without meaning. My goal is to make Excel lessons practical, engaging, and rewarding for every learner.
I focus strongly on helping students understand why spreadsheet functions work instead of copying formulas mechanically without understanding their purpose.
