About Brylee
My experience with Excel developed through academic study and professional reporting tasks that demanded accuracy and clarity. I earned a B.Com in Information Systems, where data organisation and analysis were central to my training. Over 11 years of teaching, I have helped learners develop strong, practical spreadsheet skills across academic and professional contexts.
I believe Excel should be taught patiently and logically. My teaching style focuses on understanding how formulae work and how structure prevents errors. I adapt lessons to individual needs, encouraging experimentation and confidence-building through repetition.
Outside teaching, I continue refining my Excel expertise through data projects and productivity research. Teaching Excel is fulfilling because learners see immediate improvement. Helping students feel capable and organised motivates my work.

Excel lessons focus on helping learners transform data into clear, organised, and meaningful information. I teach spreadsheets as dynamic tools for thinking, planning, and analysis rather than static grids. Students learn how formulae, functions, and structure work together to support accuracy and efficiency. Lessons begin with foundational skills such as cell referencing, formatting logic, and basic formulae, ensuring learners feel confident from the start.
As learners advance, lessons expand into conditional logic, lookup functions, pivot tables, dashboards, and error management. I use real-world scenarios such as budgeting, reporting, and data tracking to make learning practical and relevant. Exercises are guided carefully to reinforce understanding and build independence. Feedback is supportive and detailed, helping learners refine their workflow without frustration.
Excel training also strengthens attention to detail and structured thinking. Students often feel empowered as they gain control over data. My goal is to help learners feel confident using Excel as a reliable, everyday analytical tool.
