About Scott
I am a Nursing Associate, registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council. I have clinical experience within Accident & Emergency and Primary Care. Before embarking on my nursing career, I was a teacher of Secondary English. I now have the passion to combine my nursing and teaching careers to aid our next generation of budding health care assistants, nurses and nursing associates.
I am an experienced alternative home education provider teaching to GCSE Key Stage 4 learners as well as adult learners. I have worked in a multitude of environments including Mainstream Schools, PRU's, Alternative Providers, Colleges and Private Training Providers, also teaching students with Emotional, Social and Behavioural Difficulties, students with mild Special Educational Needs and looked after children. With this experience I bring with me an understanding of the differing needs my students may have and an understanding of the difficulties my students may face within their own lives. I offer students a friendly and welcoming experience with the student having dual control over what is being taught with opportunities to discuss any external elements that may be affecting their studies. I teach all aspects of the curriculum and non-curriculum.
