I give one-on-one lessons for most of the time, but I can also tutor small groups with the same level of care. I wish to provoke a discussion rather than lecture alone, and try and encourage answers rather than to simply give them to the student, so they are able to perform as such in the exam.
I am a confident and qualified tutor with a wide range of subject specialisms, particularly in the humanities, English Literature and Psychology. Specifically, I work best with GCSE and A-Level students, working across a broad range of topics and examinations, being able to tutor on the vital subjects such as Maths and English, but also on other, broader topics, such as History, Religious Education and Psychology.
In addition to the curriculum topics, I am also able to tutor your children or yourself on a variety of non-curriculum topics: for example the Voice exams for both Trinity Guildhall and ABRSM, and the Extended Project Qualification.
In regards to teaching experience, I have worked in volunteer teaching positions in a variety of schools over the last four years, and as a result, I am very good at working one on one with children. I will be able to provide the one-on-one attention that often neglected in the classroom, uniquely tailored to the child and to the exams that they are preparing for.
I look forward to being able to provide you with excellent teaching, instilling a genuine passion for learning as well as helping your child achieve the grades they deserve.
