About Somi
With 12 years of ESL teaching experience, I have helped High School and College students build strong English skills. I have successfully worked with 150–200 students from different backgrounds. My teaching philosophy is based on simplicity and flexibility.
I break down complex topics into easy steps so students can understand clearly. I use real-life examples and regular practice to make learning effective. I also provide feedback to help students improve continuously.
One of my key achievements is helping students gain confidence in speaking and writing English. I am dedicated to supporting students in every step of their learning journey.

My ESL teaching methodology combines creativity, critical thinking, mentorship, and accountability to create a strong and effective learning environment. As a mentor, I guide my students with patience and dedication. I understand that every student learns differently, so I personalise my teaching approach to meet their needs. I create a supportive and motivating environment.
Accountability is a key part of my teaching. I set clear goals, monitor progress, and provide constructive feedback. I encourage students to stay focused and take responsibility for their learning.
In addition to ESL, I teach related subjects to support academic development. My goal is to help students become confident, skilled, and independent learners.
