About Remy
I am an ESL tutor with 12 years of experience teaching high school and college students, dedicated to helping learners achieve fluency, confidence, and academic excellence. My teaching philosophy focuses on personalised learning, with each lesson carefully tailored to a student’s individual goals, level, and learning style.
I combine structured grammar and vocabulary instruction with speaking, writing, listening, and reading exercises, using real-life scenarios and practical examples to make learning meaningful. I teach ESL using the C³P approach—Creativity, Communication, Compassion, and Problem-solving to create engaging and effective learning experiences. Creativity is nurtured through storytelling, role-playing, and project-based activities that encourage students to think imaginatively and express themselves confidently.
Communication is emphasised through discussions, debates, and collaborative exercises that strengthen fluency, comprehension, and practical language use. Compassion ensures lessons are student-centred, personalised to individual needs, and supported with guidance and encouragement to foster motivation and confidence.
Problem-solving is incorporated through scenario-based exercises, analytical tasks, and real-life challenges, enabling students to apply English skills practically while developing critical thinking. I also cover complementary subjects such as writing, reading comprehension, and vocabulary building for holistic development.
This methodology equips learners to be creative, confident, empathetic, and capable of applying English successfully in various contexts.
