About Yip
I am an experienced flute tutor with 9 years of teaching practice, having successfully guided around 150 students across different levels. I enjoy working with students of all ages and helping them develop their musical abilities. My teaching approach is based on communication, creativity, and flexibility, allowing me to adjust lessons according to each student’s goals and learning pace.
I focus on fundamentals such as breath control, tone production, and finger coordination. I include creative exercises, songs, and engaging activities to make learning enjoyable and effective. I am patient and supportive, helping students overcome challenges with clear explanations.
I also guide students in basic music theory and practice techniques. My goal is to help students become confident, expressive, and skilled flute players.

Flexibility allows me to modify lessons based on how quickly a student understands concepts. I encourage collaboration by involving students in selecting practice material and setting goals.
I create a positive and relaxed learning environment where students feel confident to explore and improve. I also include music theory and ear training to enhance their overall musical ability.
