About June
With 12 years of experience in teaching violin, I have successfully helped around 300 students, including high school students, college learners, and adults, to improve their skills and confidence. My teaching approach is student-focused, simple, and practical, as I believe learning should be easy to understand and enjoyable.
I focus on important areas such as posture, bow control, rhythm, and tone quality, ensuring strong fundamentals. I explain concepts clearly and provide exercises that support steady progress. One of my key achievements is helping students improve consistently and perform comfortably.
My goal is to create a positive learning environment where students feel encouraged, confident, and motivated to continue their musical journey.

My violin teaching approach focuses on communication, flexibility, and real-life application of musical skills. I carefully assess each student’s learning style and goals, then tailor lessons to suit their pace and abilities.
I teach posture, bowing, fingering, intonation, tone production, phrasing, and expressive playing, while encouraging creativity and personal expression. Lessons include practical examples such as performing favourite songs, practising with accompaniment, and understanding music’s emotional impact.
In addition to violin, I teach music theory, rhythm exercises, ear training, sight-reading, and basic piano skills to strengthen overall musicianship. My goal is to create a supportive, structured, and motivating environment where students gain confidence and a lifelong love for music.
