About Andrew
I am a passionate violin tutor with 9 years of teaching experience, helping students from school level to working professionals develop their musical skills. Teaching music is something I truly enjoy, and I take pride in supporting students throughout their journey. My teaching philosophy is based on patience, clarity, and steady improvement.
I believe that learning violin becomes easier when concepts are explained clearly and practiced regularly. I focus on building a strong foundation by teaching posture, bow control, finger placement, and note reading in detail. As students improve, I guide them towards advanced techniques and musical expression.
I have successfully trained over 150 students, many of whom have gained confidence and improved their playing ability. I create a comfortable and motivating environment where students feel encouraged. My goal is to make violin learning a smooth and fulfilling experience.

My teaching methodology focuses on making violin learning easy to understand and enjoyable for every student. I use real-life examples and simple case studies to explain musical concepts like rhythm, pitch, tone, and expression so students can apply them in practical situations.
I give strong importance to fundamentals such as posture, bow control, finger placement, and scales, as these build the base for good performance. I follow a step-by-step approach and make sure students understand each concept clearly before moving ahead. I also adjust my teaching style based on each student’s learning pace and goals.
Communication is very important in my classes, and I encourage students to ask questions freely. I provide regular feedback and support their progress. I follow honesty, patience, and commitment. Apart from violin, I also teach music theory, ear training, rhythm exercises, and performance techniques.
