About Obeya
I am a passionate and dedicated Mathematics and Science educator with a strong commitment to helping students build confidence, improve understanding, and achieve outstanding academic results. I specialize in breaking down complex concepts into simple, practical, and engaging lessons that students of different learning abilities can easily understand and apply.
My teaching methodology focuses on student-centered learning, interactive explanations, real-life examples, step-by-step problem solving, and continuous assessment to ensure lasting understanding rather than memorization. I believe every student can excel when taught with patience, clarity, encouragement, and the right strategy.
I enjoy teaching Mathematics, Biology, Basic Science, Physics, and related subjects for primary, secondary, and IGCSE-level students. I am especially passionate about helping struggling learners overcome fear and confusion in Mathematics and Science by creating a supportive and motivating learning environment.
Beyond teaching, I enjoy developing educational materials, creating practice questions, simplifying difficult topics, and exploring modern teaching techniques that make learning more effective and enjoyable. I am continuously working on improving my online teaching skills, expanding my digital learning tools, and creating more engaging learning experiences for students across different backgrounds.

My teaching methodology is designed to help you understand deeply, not just memorize answers, so you can confidently apply what you learn in exams and real-life situations.
I begin by identifying your current level of understanding through simple questions, short exercises, or quick discussions. This helps me understand where you are struggling and what needs to be strengthened first. From there, I break every topic into small, manageable steps so you are never overwhelmed.
Instead of jumping straight into formulas or theory, I use real-life examples to make concepts relatable. For example, in Mathematics, I connect problems to everyday situations like money, time, measurement, and patterns. In Science, I use practical examples from daily life to explain abstract ideas so you can easily visualize and remember them.
I also use a step-by-step problem-solving approach. I don’t just give answers—I guide you through the process so you understand how and why each step works. This builds your confidence and helps you become independent in solving similar problems on your own.
Another key part of my method is active participation. I encourage you to ask questions, attempt problems during lessons, and explain your thinking. This keeps you engaged and helps me correct misunderstandings immediately.
I regularly give short assessments and practice exercises to track your progress. This ensures you are improving consistently and helps us focus more on areas that need attention.
Most importantly, I teach at your pace. If you need more time to understand a topic, we slow down. If you’re progressing well, we move ahead confidently. My goal is to make sure you fully understand before moving to the next stage.
With this approach, you don’t just learn to pass exams—you develop strong thinking skills, confidence, and a solid foundation in Mathematics and Science.
