About Isaac
Hi, I'm Isaac , currently a Actuarial Science student and a part-time math tutor with over 300 hours+ of tutoring experience. My goal is to make math less intimidating and more approachable using a friendly & supportive teaching style. I have a proven track record of student success, having helped two students improve their Cambridge Primary Checkpoint exam grades from band 3 to band 5 in no less than 3 months! Before my guidance, they struggled with understanding mathematical concepts, but with my structured approach and support, they achieved remarkable progress.

My teaching approach is structured, results-driven and tailored to students' needs.
I begin by identifying students' weaknesses and ensure they develop a strong foundation in fundamental concepts. Once the core knowledge is in place, my next stage is practical application. I ensure students practice and focus with past examination papers so that they are familiar with the exam structure and format. ️Additionally, I do provide exclusive international school trial exam papers that are not easily available elsewhere. This approach helps them build problem-solving confidence, ensuring they are well-prepared for their exams. Each lesson typically lasts 1 to 2 hours, with 1 to 2 classes per week, depending on the student's needs. As an actuarial science student with a strong mathematics background, I provide clear explanations and structured learning paths.
