About Emilee

I have always had jobs which involved supporting students, initially through support work and mentoring in academic study skills. When I moved into teaching, I found it important to offer a range of activities and foster openness and honesty so individuals could ask for help and feel supported. Whilst my specialism is English Literature, I spent many years teaching language, psychology, and skills-based modules. As education developed through online learning, I found digital education and education technology to be incredibly interesting, which led me to my current job designing courses and online lessons.

About the lesson

I design university courses and assessments as my day job, so I understand the correlation between assessment objectives and evidencing skills in a way that meets the criteria for high grades. I'm involved in research into inclusive education and accessibility, and believe that students should have an active role in how they learn. I am flexible in my approach and happy to explore a range of methods to find what best suits you.
