About Yusra
I am a motivated 8th-grade student with a strong academic record, seeking to offer tutoring services to peers and younger students. I am passionate about helping others and fostering a love for learning. I have a strong proficiency in mathematics, English, and science. My teachers state that I have strong communication and interpersonal skills, being both patient and understanding, and being able to explain concepts clearly. I carry out good organizational and time management skills and am quite proficient with online learning tools and technology. I have experience tutoring as I was co-founder of a Science club from Grade 4 to Grade 6, connecting my peers through the love of astronomy and health sciences. I also serve as a Student Ambassador at my school. I am involved in extracurricular activities at Spirit of Math, HOSA, Debate Team, and Tennis Team. Additionally, I am an ongoing volunteer as a black belt in Taekwondo.

I offer tutoring services to students from elementary to early middle school (Grades 1-6). My goal is to help students build a strong foundation in their studies and develop a passion for learning. The subjects I will offer are Mathematics, English, and Science. My lesson structures will include one-on-one tutoring tailored to the student’s specific needs and requirements, as well as learning pace. I will be assisting them with daily homework assignments and have focused sessions to prepare for upcoming tests. I believe in creating a positive and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and exploring new concepts.
