About Rish
I have been a pianist for 20 years, beginning at the age of 5. I completed ABRSM grade 8’s in Piano, Violin and Voice by the age of 15, and was the young musician of Kenya winner for 6 consecutive years. I love teaching people how to play the piano, from going over basics with beginners, to bringing out a different perspective and character from a piece with advanced pianists. I am keen to work with people of all ages, and have experience with this. Looking forward to sharing my passion with as many people as possible!

With 20 years of classical and non-classical piano experience (ABRSM Grade 8 Distinction holder), I will be able to guide and improve your piano skills, having worked extensively with pianists ranging from beginner level to advanced. I also hold ABRSM grade 8’s in violin and voice, giving me a unique musical edge over typical piano teachers. I focus not only on technique, but musicality and bringing out the emotion and character of the piece being performed. Most of all, I keep lessons and practice enjoyable for pianists of all levels and ages!
