About Matt
I am a 21 year old graduate from the University of Sheffield, with a passion for music. Whilst studying history at university, my favourite way to relax away from my studies was playing my acoustic guitar, and have spent hundreds of hours over the past 3 years practising this great skill. In terms of my musical background and knowledge, I was able to translate my Grade 5 theory knowledge and 8 years of piano lessons onto the guitar. I would love to share and teach this passion and knowledge with as many people as possible.

Coming from a background in piano, I have a deep rooted knowledge of music theory that I have applied in order to teach myself the guitar. What I can offer are enjoyable step-by-step lessons to take you from a complete beginner to an accomplished acoustic guitarist. I will help develop your finger picking and strumming skills, whilst also providing musical theory to provide a greater understanding of the guitar.
