Methodology

My teaching methods are to help support the students to learn how to mix colours from the colour palette and how to draw from still life and everyday objects. I am able to help the students to analyse the work of artist from the past and to apply different techniques and styles of painting and drawing.

Background

I am an Art and Design Teacher who has over 20 years of teaching the subject in a secondary school setting.
I have taught many different students over the years who have gone onto to studying Art at University.
My past students have achieved grades A to C.

Objectives
As head of Technology, successfully taught in all key stages, 3, 4, and 5 , and worked closely with senior leaders , skilled at preparing my own teaching resources and class room materials , as form tutor have liaised with parents, carers, , colleagues.
Able to successfully work to deadlines, can adapt well with a varied workload, have demonstrated my ability to deliver examination classes, GCSE Food Technology, Hospitality and Catering Level 2, Health and Social Care Level 2 and 3, taught Textiles and GCSE Art. I have also taught key stage 3 Geography, History, Religious Education and Citizenship.
