About Rebecca
I have a BMus (hons) and MA in Music Performance and I am Principal Flute with a local orchestra and enjoy performing in regular concerts. I have been teaching flute for 20+ years and have taught in schools and privately. I have plenty of experience of ABRSM practical and performance exams and I have successfully supported a pupil to apply and audition for a music college Junior Department.

My teaching style is pupil-centred and friendly. I teach using a wide variety of musical styles, ranging from classical, jazz, folk and modern. Lessons cover flute technique, performance skills, music theory and music appreciation. I have over 20 years teaching experience across a range of ages and levels and always aim to inspire a love of music making in my pupils. Lessons can be between 30-60 mins, depending on level.
