About Johanna
Originally from Munich, German is my mother tongue.
I recently finished my M.A. degree in German Literature, German Linguistics and Philosophy with first class honours. Due to my studies I have profound knowledge of the German language and culture, and concepts of bilingualism.
I have been working as a private German tutor in London for a while, providing students of all ages and different skill levels with extensive training. I have experience in working with refugees as a tutor for both written and spoken German. I also worked as a German tutor for primary school pupils with different cultural backgrounds at a bilingual school in Munich.
I have found working with people from different cultural backgrounds extremely rewarding, as it showed me that language education as well as constituting an understanding of different cultures is very important for young people to help them create future opportunities - which is one of the reasons I truly enjoy sharing my knowledge and supporting students of all ages in improving their language skills.
I am looking forward to a first lesson with you!
