About Oban
My name is Oban, I study Biological Sciences at the University of Oxford and studied Biology, Chemistry, and Geography at A level. I achieved 11 A* grades at GCSE and 2 A*s and 1 A grade at A level. My passion for teaching Biology, Chemistry and Geography, ensures that every lesson will be engaging - and fun - whilst improving your grades in your public examinations, or even just as a helping hand through homework for younger students.

During my time volunteering tutoring students from Hammersmith academy (where I was presented with a wide range of abilities), I learnt how to conduct online tutoring sessions in the most efficient way possible. Our lessons will be conducted virtually over google meet, employing the use of a google whiteboard - the links to which I will send 5 minutes before the start of every tutoring session. Depending on the level of study of your child, each session will involve practice questions, explanations and active recall to ensure both understanding and retention in all of our lessons.
