About JANE
Have taught children for over 20 years in a variety of settings. Currently working for a local independent school as an HLTA (Level 4) and have a proven track record with children of KS1 & 2. I work with children who require booster lessons and/or who have special educational needs and am therefore, well versed with the difficulties these can present. Happy to help with all aspects of numeracy and literacy, including phonics, story writing, comprehension and handwriting.

Hardworking, reliable and well-organised I always advance-plan and tailor lessons to the child's individual needs and/or specific areas requiring development. I am always enthusiastic and have the expertise to make my tutees feel comfortable and not afraid to ask if they are still unsure about something. I make lessons fun and engaging, aim to develop confidence in areas children find challenging and ensure the basics are grasped before moving on.
