About James
I specialise in English from Primary through to A-Level, having achieved an A at A-Level Literature — including an A* on the poetry paper. Beyond qualifications, I've built real classroom experience as a Teaching Assistant across KS2, where I ran a writing club for two terms that culminated in the students publishing their own school newspaper.
I've also worked across a range of childcare and education settings, including camp counselling and swim teaching, which has given me a natural ability to connect with young people and adapt to how they learn best.
What drives me is that moment when a child achieves something they didn't think they could. That's what every session is ultimately working towards.
