About Elizabeth
The approach I adopt is one which inspires children to do their very best and adopt a 'can do' attitude'. Learning should always be engaging yet challenging at the same time. I encourage every child I tutor to rise to the challenges of what they are capable of achieving and support them on their route to success.

The tutoring I provide is based on a bespoke programme for the needs of the individual child. Whether it is to prepare for the challenges of the 11+ exam or support with primary school learning, I work with each child to give them the knowledge, skills and confidence to achieve their best.
I favour a face to face approach as this always works better when motivating children with their learning but I can provide online tutoring as well.
I generally recommend a one hour tutoring session per week with the child completing revision and consolidation tasks
independently in between.
I have taught for over 25 years and have worked as a Year 6 class teacher for the past 11 years. I am the Literacy Lead in my primary school and am also Assistant Headteacher. I have taught 11plus for the past ten years.
