About Ravneet
Hi! I'm Rav, an enthusiastic Environmental Science graduate from Royal Holloway, University of London. I’m passionate about helping students gain confidence and clarity in their learning, especially in science, geography, and environmental studies. Alongside my degree, I’ve mentored first-year university students, presented academic work to non-specialist audiences, and supported GCSE biology learners, which helped me develop a friendly and adaptable teaching style. I understand how overwhelming certain topics can feel, and I enjoy breaking them down in ways that are engaging and relatable.

My teaching style is supportive, adaptable, and student-focused. I use real-world examples, visuals, and clear explanations to help students understand tricky concepts, especially in science and geography. I encourage active learning through discussions, mini quizzes, and revision strategies tailored to each student’s needs and goals. Lessons typically last 60 minutes, with flexibility depending on the topic or the student's concentration level. I provide structured sessions with clear objectives, regular progress checks, and optional homework or feedback summaries upon request. I recently completed my BSc in Environmental Science at Royal Holloway, University of London, where I also mentored first-year students and led revision sessions. I’ve supported learners of different ages and I also have experience explaining technical topics to non-specialist audiences through public talks and presentations. My lessons are ideal for KS3 and GCSE students looking to improve their understanding in subjects such as science, geography, or environmental studies. I can also support university applicants and students needing help with coursework or study skills.
