About Vision Sports Academy
Vision Sports Academy are a Birmingham based sports coaching community interest company which tackle social objectives and invest into communities in need.
- Provide high quality 1-2-1 coaching to take a players game to the next level
- Implement robust training session plans allowing Managers/Sports Leaders to focus on all the other important stuff
- Our experienced coaches will personally plan sessions and adopt training techniques to fit in with your football philosophy
- Collaborate with Primary & Secondary Schools, delivering Community Project Workshops, providing PE Curriculum and Extra-Curricular Activities
- Increase overall participation & social interaction of young people in sport by provisioning Coaching Centres across the West Midlands which also operate through half-term and the summer holidays
- Develop young people to become sports coaches and harness potential future talent
Our social aim is to help children become more active and healthier, improving their overall understanding of nutritional values and a healthy lifestyle. We envision children taking their knowledge home to share with parents and promote healthy eating amongst families and the wider community. We also want to improve sporting technique, skill, fitness as well as encouraging team values and social etiquette in young people while naturally providing opportunities to greater accessibility to a wide range of sports.
Creating a healthy nation and therefore decreasing obesity prevalence in young people is of major importance while also promoting healthy lifestyles within adults. Lowering the NHS bill and in effect the burden on the taxpayer is the ultimate goal and we believe increasing nutritional awareness will support this.
Tackling the ever deteriorating poverty level, not only in Birmingham but in the UK as a whole is something we take very seriously within our organisation. The levels of poverty in Birmingham are higher than nearly every other UK city. Our weekly Coaching Centre provide parents with a high class technical service for their children; a hub for developing healthy lifestyles and most importantly all offered at what is effectively 'affordable childcare' during out of school time (including half term/summer holidays).
