About Emma
I am an experienced primary educator with a background in contemporary dance. Creativity in education (and life) is my passion and my EdD research centred on this. I love to support teachers to find their creativity through their teaching and learning practice and ensure that educators continue to challenge themselves and their work so we can maintain creativity in ourselves and others. I believe in the fundamental skills of teachers and aim to ensure all new teachers develop authentic practice in an ever-expanding digital world.

I can support trainee teachers and ECTs to unpick the important elements of lesson planning, demonstrating how to ensure key knowledge is addressed through creative pedagogy and that learning is thoroughly and appropriately assessed. I can offer support with curriculum development and designing relevant and engaging sequences, as well as supporting a better understanding and use of learning environments for the benefit of the students.
