I tailor my classes to the needs and likes of the students, by finding out what topics and grammar points they are less comfortable with and by getting to know them so as to engage them in the lessons.
I use a Present, Practice and Produce approach where I first present a topic/grammar or vocabulary point, followed by some practice of said point and finishing with a "free" stage, where students produce their own English by speaking or writing using the point we just learned.
I make my classes student centred. I try to incorporate lots of games and fun activities and encourage a lot of socializing. I always give students homework as a way of measuring development.

If you are looking to not only maximise your potential in the English language but also enjoy your English studies. I would not hesitate to recommend Nuno.
I met Nuno a couple of years ago on a holiday my partner organised to visit her friend, who happened to be in a relationship with Nuno. I'm not the most outgoing person in the world and needless to say I wasn't exactly looking forward to it. It is, however, my favourite holiday I've been on and that has a lot to do with Nuno (and his partner of course). We bonded almost immediately as he has a great sense of humour and is an enthusiastic conversationalist, no matter the subject.
I think you can expect very fun, creative and constructive tutoring from Nuno based on the conversations we have together and evidenced by his skill on the guitar he has the determination and patience to work with something or someone until their potential is reached.
Nuno is a great tutor, he helped me improve my English language skills in a fun and interesting way. There were no dull moments in lessons and he always tried to keep his students engaged. I truly recommend him as a teacher.
I have known Nuno for more than 10 years. During this time, we have worked together in music and film projects, such as composing musical pieces, organizing concerts, and writing scripts for short films. In all these projects, Nuno has always shown himself to be knowledgeable, patient, enthusiast, and fun, which are all necessary traits in an amazing teacher. This has made working with him an amazing experience, both for learning from him and for the fun of creating something together.
I have had the pleasure of knowing Nuno for the better part of my life. We met through a mutual friend, we talked for a bit and did some humorous creative writing together and when I met him in person it was like I had known him for years. We have always been good friends and participated in creative musical projects together.
He is one of the most passionate people I know, very enthusiastic, extroverted, and people-oriented.
As an avid culture consumer, he is the kind of person who always has a new subject to talk about, for example a movie he watched or a book he's reading that he found fascinating. Never a passive thinker, he describes things with genuine enthusiasm and eloquence, which is undeniably contagious.
His young spirit and energy make him excellent at creating rapport and his inquisitive nature encourages people to understand things at a deeper level.
In my opinion, Nuno is the opposite of the stale teacher who makes every lesson a boring repetition of the previous one. He is friendly, easy-going and responsible and he cares about people, putting his heart into what's important: creating a connection, encouraging self-thought and speaking the same language as his students.
I sincerely believe you will enjoy meeting him and learning with him.
Nuno is a friendly, creative and professional teacher. I had the pleasure of working with him at a language school last year. His lessons are engaging, he has excellent rapport with his students and he is passionate about helping them reach their full potential.
