I'm a dedicated and experienced English teacher with a passion for connecting with learners of all ages.
Originally from New Zealand, I've a Postgraduate Diploma in Teaching and have over seven years of classroom teaching experience.
Currently based in Valencia, Spain, I combine my creative expertise with teaching children, adults, and business professionals online.
I love building relationships, fostering confidence, and helping students achieve their goals in a fun, supportive, and engaging environment.

My lessons vary depending on your goals, your interests and learning preferences and your knowledge gaps in English. I enjoy using authentic media content in areas of student interest and real life situations and role plays to prepare you for the realities of live conversation.
I've experience teaching:
- New Zealand, Swedish and Spanish primary school aged children
- Spanish high school students and preparing them for exams
- European and Asian business professionals who need help reviewing their CVs, role playing job interviews and working through dialogue for staff performance reviews.
- conversational English to support fluency
My lesson format usually starts with a warm-up, then a review of past learning, introduction of new learning or practice of a skill, then a review and then a warm-down.
I like to test, teach, test to see that you are progressing. The tests are informal but help inform what to teach and show you your progress.
