About Faith
I’m a 20 year old undergrad biomed student with 10+ years playing the clarinet and 3 years on the bass clarinet.
I first started playing at the age of 7, and quickly progressed to a grade 3 within a year. I’ve played in orchestras and events for 5+ years, including the Royal Academy of Music, the Coldstream Guards, and the NCBF. I’ve also played a wide range of repertoire, ranging from: Crown imperial and Danzon No.2 (Principal bass clarinet) to How to train your dragon and Chicago the musical.
I’ve been surrounded by, and have been looking after young kids for almost 5-6 years. I believe this has given my the skills needed to communicate with children in an effective way, and deliver the lessons in a way that’ll be fun and interactive.

I’m a 20 year old with over 10 years of playing the clarinet.
I understand that it can be difficult when learning a new instrument, so want to help children and young adults with their first stages in playing this amazing instrument.
I’d like to teach young children up to grade 5.
The lessons will involve getting the student used to reading notation in a fun and interactive way. With beginner students, I’d like for the first 2-3 sessions to be half-hour long (at half price), so I can properly introduce them to the instrument and allow them to adjust to the sessions.
For students that are grade 2-5, I’d like for the first session to also be half-hour, so I can grasp what kind of playing style/level that you’re at. Feel free to share any concerns with me, and we’ll see how they can be addressed.
