Methodology
Webcam classes are totally feasible for chess both for adults and kids! Thankfully Covid isn't a problem for learning chess. I'm open to have a trial lesson to show you how it works
After assesing the level of the student during the first class I would prepare a long-term planning including lessons and exercises that would cover the three parts of a chess game: opening, middle-game and endgame.
I also like to work with my students both strategy and tactic as they're key to improve one's chess level.
Experience
It doesn't matter if you don't know anything about this subject and you want to get into it or if you already know how to play and you want to master your skills, I can help you with that. It's scientifically proven that chess helps you to develop and strengthen many aptitudes such as: efficient planning, creativity, self-criticism, discipline, logical reasoning, problem solving and concentration. That's why playing chess is so good for the mental health of children and adults. Also, it's super fun!!
I've been playing chess since I was 5 years old, competing at an international level and being awarded many times. I've also given chess lessons since I was 15 until now, when I'm 25. During this year I've switched online with all of my students and it's going great. Thankfully the lockdown doesn't entail a problem for learning chess. In fact, one of my young students reached the 2020 Under 8 Terefinal of the UK Chess Challenge after only a year of classes!
With my lessons, you'll learn all the strategies and tactics while focusing in the three parts of a chess game: the opening, the middle game and the endgame.

Ignacio's CV
I'm a masters student in The University of York. I've been playing chess since I was 5 years old, competing at an international level and being awarded many times. I have the official diploma from the Chess Federation of Madrid that qualifies my as a Chess Instructor. My FIDE rating is 2008. I've also given chess lessons since I was 15. I specially love to teach students that are passionate about chess and want to improve their skills.
