About Ignacio
It doesn't matter if you don't know anything about this subject and you want to get into it or if you already know how to play and you want to master your skills, I can help you with that. It's scientifically proven that chess helps you to develop and strengthen many aptitudes such as: efficient planning, creativity, self-criticism, discipline, logical reasoning, problem solving and concentration. That's why playing chess is so good for the mental health of children and adults. Also, it's super fun!!
I've been playing chess since I was 5 years old, competing at an international level and being awarded many times. I've also given chess lessons since I was 15 until now, when I'm 25. During this year I've switched online with all of my students and it's going great. Thankfully the lockdown doesn't entail a problem for learning chess. In fact, one of my young students reached the 2020 Under 8 Terefinal of the UK Chess Challenge after only a year of classes!
With my lessons, you'll learn all the strategies and tactics while focusing in the three parts of a chess game: the opening, the middle game and the endgame.

Webcam classes are totally feasible for chess both for adults and kids! Thankfully COVID -19 isn't a problem for learning chess. I'm open to have a trial lesson to show you how it works
After assesing the level of the student during the first class I would prepare a long-term planning including lessons and exercises that would cover the three parts of a chess game: opening, middle-game and endgame.
I also like to work with my students both strategy and tactic as they're key to improve one's chess level.

Perfect! My son (9 years old) took lesson from Coach Ignacio for the past month now. Ignacio is very interactive and interesting. Every lesson they play a chess game and some puzzles. My son has enjoyed his lessons thoroughly and I can see his improvement during the course of the past month.

Perfect! I am really enjoying my lessons with Ignacio, we're doing a combination of game reviews to see where the gaps are in my game, followed by introducing concepts through classic games from past masters, reinforced with puzzles. I'm very happy with with the results and my rating is going back up!

Perfect! Ignacio is a fantastic chess tutor for my son, Hugo, who is 6 years old. He’s really been able to motivate and inspire Hugo and to make the classes fun and age appropriate for him. It’s really helped Hugo not just with his chess, but also with his confidence and concentration. Many thanks, Ignacio

Ignacio has been teaching chess to our 9 years old, Peter, for a while now. Peter simply loves the way Ignacio engages with him, he is able to make the lessons both fun and efficient. Peter's skills improved dramatically within weeks and so did his player's scores. Peter is now a chess "star" among his peers. We recommend Ignacio very strongly and without reservations. Robert
What an Excellent teacher he's moved me forward leaps and bounds in just a few months . I would recommend him to everyone you won't regret it !
Ignacio has been a fantastic teacher for my sons age 7 and 9. They have both learnt so much in a relatively short period of time and their confidence and skills have improved dramatically. His classes are not only productive but also fun and interesting and the boys look forward to them immensely each week. Ignacio has ignited their passion for chess. Thank you Ignacio!
